How It Works
Magnesium is a cofactor in 300+ enzyme systems, including the ones that regulate your nervous system's brake pedal. It dampens NMDA receptor activity (less neuronal overexcitation) and supports GABA signaling, which is why users report it as calming rather than sedating. The "bisglycinate" part matters: magnesium chelated to two glycine molecules absorbs significantly better than cheap oxide forms and carries less GI distress. Glycine itself is inhibitory, adding a mild sleep-support effect.
Key Functions It Supports
- sleep
- stress
- muscle recovery
